ANDY BRUNTEL lives and works in Los Angeles, CA

Andy was born in a small rural town amongst the Appalachian Mountains. While studying design and interdisciplinary media in Baltimore, he obsessively experimented with narrative storytelling in his video, animation and interactive installation work. After graduation he moved to Los Angeles where he worked with directors Mike Mills, Roman Coppola and Geoff McFetridge on numerous film, video and animation projects. In 2006 Andy joined the talented roster at TDB and has proved himself a creative and resourceful director with a refreshingly singular voice. He has since collaborated with legendary musicians Will Oldham and Stephen Malkmus as well as rising artists such as St. Vincent and Bat for Lashes. In October of 2006 Andy was featured by Boards Magazine in their annual Director's To Watch issue. His work has reached an international audience, screening at prominent film festivals around the globe and receiving nominations from MTV, the Plug Independent Music Awards and many others.
