When I was approached by Benjamin about participating in the 12x36 show, I remember thinking, “I better clarify I'm not a photographer but mainly a pen and paper person to them. Perhaps they've made a mistake.”  He responded that it was alright and that in turn made me very interested in this project.  My experience taking photographs has been very similar to how I start drawings – I just go for it.  Like in my art as in these photographs, I always see subtle flaws, flaws that are funny to me, and hopefully somewhat to the viewers.
